The article focuses on mPacktingi’s new low-carbon premium packaging solutions for the beauty industry. One of the standout products featured is the Silva range, developed in collaboration with designer Thierry de Baschmakoff. The range includes skincare jars, lipsticks, compacts, and caps made from wood, cork, and mBlack, a biodegradable material derived from wood chips. This line is designed to be fully refillable and recyclable, with universal refill systems that allow the combination of materials such as metal, ceramics, and mBlack.
Additionally, mPackting collaborated with Bormioli Luigi to create the Tango lipstick, a premium product that emphasizes sustainability and circularity. The lipstick packaging combines glass, wood, and a biobased biodegradable ring (which can also be made from mBlack). All components of the packaging are customizable, refillable, and separable for recyclability.
The article also highlights mPackting's collaboration with Verescence for the launch of the Moon bottle, featuring the LegnaPin cap. Made from FSC-certified wood and cork, this cap is designed with flexibility and sustainability in mind. It is a universal solution that does not require new molds for each design and allows for a wide range of design possibilities.
